The Irie Mountain project is still in the seedling phase and we have a long ways to grow. We are working now with a quarter acre where there are two buildings: one original house and one natural cabin for guests. Our next building projects are to install a third water tank, and fencing for privacy at the guest cabin. The larger scale project is to expand Irie Mountain Blessed with more land dedicated to the enjoyment of nature and healing arts. Volunteers with some carpentry and building skills would be extremely helpful at this time so that we can build a center for healing arts and creative education. Builders will work alongside skilled carpenter Raphel Blake. If you have other skills to volunteer, it would be our pleasure to have a conversation with you about coming to Irie Mountain. Artists and educators who would like to live and learn in Jamaica can apply for a financial scholarship. Lodgings are available at any time to house workers who would like to volunteer their services in exchange for a travel retreat and a grand adventure. Volunteers will be required to have passports and funds for travel expenses including transportation, touring and food.
